#27 Lateral Flexion with a Dowel
If you keep spine long, and star to gradually push your hips out to the side, whilst having your shoulders rotated outwardly, you can further stretch your external obliques and latissimus dorsi. Do not do this exercise if you are facing pain issues in your lower back.
#28 Triangle Pose Muscles
What you can also try for your external obliques, is take a wide stand with your front foot straight ahead, and have your back foot at 90 degrees. This way you will be in position to put your hand on your front leg or on the ground, then, to sit back into your front hip whilst having your back straight. Proceed with rotating away from your hand, and maintaining your look on the hand that is to be in the air.
